I do not charge for, or solicit, advertising and will make decisions as to what is included on the basis of usefullness to the researcher. I have, and might, accept a copy of a book but this is usually for some reason other than it being included here. Where I have offered a recommendation, it is based on my personal experience with the item.
Both amazon.com and iBS have "associates" programs from which I may receive a small commission from books you buy after having clicked from my page. There is a threshold before any fee is paid and I do not expect much, if any, income from this. I will gladly take whatever comes, however, to partially offset the costs of maintaining this web space.
Books offered by these online sources are, of course, probably available from many other booksellers. I have found that these companies do represent a wonderful way to buy titles that are generally a hassle to locate otherwise
When you click on a title offered by either amazon.com or iBS, you are led to their respective web sites and become their customer, not mine. They fully protect your privacy and I have no knowledge of who buys from them or the status of any order. Make all inquiries to their addresses, shown on each site.
